If you don’t have a rich relative or qualify for a bank loan, you may want to consider a microloan. Todd Vanappledorn, loan officer at CEED, will go over the types of microloans offered by CEED Lending, an initiative of the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council (Great Lakes WBC). They provide business expansion financing and small business loans to start-ups and established enterprises owned by women or men in Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties. CEED loans are partnered with technical assistance services for business owners.
