Washtenaw African American Genealogy Society meets virtually every third Saturday of each month. Established to help with African American genealogy research for all skill levels.
Washtenaw African American Genealogy Society (WAAGS) provide help for those interested in African American Genealogy. Attendees are offered tips, techniques and useful websites, such as the Ypsilanti District Library's edition of Ancestry.com. Attendees will also hear oral histories and learn historical facts to help with your African American Genealogy research journey. All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged. WAAGS meets virtually every third Saturday of the month.
