Supriya Kelkar, the author of this year's Family Read, will talk about anti-racism and moments from her life that inspired American as Paneer Pie and helped her find her voice. She will also talk about how when she was growing up, she never wrote fictional stories about families that looked like hers, and will offer tips on how to write your own story. Make art and get a book signed too!
