Celebrate our annual Halloween event at the newly renovated downtown library branch! Get sweets, win books, visit different activity stations, play putt-putt with Putt-R-Round, and visit the "Boo"Mobile.
NEW THIS YEAR: We are introducing a Pet Costume Contest and Parade with different categories and special judges! All pets are welcome, but must be:
- Leashed or in a carrier
- Comfortable in crowds and around other animals
- In a costume that is safe and comfortable for the animal
Pet owners are responsible for their animals' behavior—to other animals and humans—and any "leavings." Plastic bags will be available.
Human costume contest starts at 6:15pm. Pet Costume Contest at 6:30pm. The parade in the library parking lot will close the program at 6:45pm.

The historical downtown library on Michigan Ave. is our oldest branch. It has two meeting rooms and an outdoor plaza.
