Local poets Leslie McGraw and Desirae Simmons will host a reading of poetry revolving around Earth Day. There will be time after our main speakers for Open Mic crowd participation.
April is National Poetry Month. April 22 is Earth Day. To celebrate, come to the Michigan Avenue branch for a poetry reading featuring three main performers, including Leslie McGraw and Desirae Simmons. Each will have 20 minutes to share their work. Our remaining time will be open for group conversation and some Open Mic audience participation.
